This little ditty was a spoof from the TV show Lost. The stranded islanders find an underground bunker with a training tape that provides instructions on living in the bunker. This vid is welcoming team members to a new program at work. Very close match to the original Dharma video. Here’s how it was done: The background is a series of still frames from the original video panned and scaling to fit. The guy was filmed on green screen and chroma key’d out. Bad TV and Earthquake filters were used for the shake and reel to reel feel in final cut pro as well as some blur and blink filters. A bleach wash was then applied in Color. Cut in a few old looking clips from the seventies and poof – Dharma training video.
